“…all I need is a little hiatus.” – 486, Burning Down Broadway
Although a hiatus sounds like just what we need in Cleveland right now, it is just the opposite of what local Cleveland band Burning Down Broadway is planning for themselves.
Burning Down Broadway, composed of Max Hayden on guitar, Dylan Hayden on drums and vocals (but is multitalented on guitar as well), Jeff Bazzo on guitar and Kevin McManus on bass and vocals, stopped in to visit Eric and I on November 8th to let us in on their fancy musician lives for a half an hour.
We had a blast with the guys in studio and learned not only can they put on an awesome show, but they are almost as good as making fun of Eric as I am. In between the joking and poking fun, the guys explained to us how seriously they take their music and although they have been together for almost 8 years now, 2004 was when things became a reality for them.
“Time is Money”, BDB’s eight song album, was released in May of 2010 and contains some of the songs that you hear on NEO Rocks! “486” “Can’t Keep The Faith” and “E-low, Back to Cleveland” are some of the songs you should expect from the album, but you can also hear BDB perform “E-low, Back to Cleveland” on the podcast from the show.
If you like what you hear, which you probably will, take a look at Burning Down Broadway’s MySpace and Facebook. You can also catch them next at the Phantasy in Lakewood on December 18th!
